RUN GOLF CURE is an evolution.

In its early days the event was a small golf outing that brought together friends and co-workers to simply play golf.  After Leukemia hit close to home a number of times, Brian Robinson and Matt Denning  decided to use the event to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma society.  As existing supporters of LLS’s Light the Night Walk (www.lightthenight.org), they found many people that would gladly donate, volunteer and help raise funds.

Over the next 12 years the event (formerly named the JDC Invitational) grew into a day long event that attracted people from all over the country to the beautiful city of Madison for a day of giving and golfing.  With the help and support of C.H. Robinson and its charitable foundation, the event has donated (after expenses) more than $375,000 since it began.  In 2016 the event added a 5k hoping to draw an even bigger crowd of people that all share one goal – supporting an organization that plays a critical role in curing blood cancers.  And having a little a fun at the same time…
